Introducing the Young Family

I have always wanted to be a writer and I am a scrapbook fanatic so I decided I would start a blog. That's one way to force myself to write every day. One day before I die I plan to write a novel. Until then this blog will have to do. Nothing much is going on in my life right now. Just work and taking Aaliyah to school and to the mall and over to a friends house. You get the picture. I am Aaliyah's official chauffer. Okay since going to school to be a court reporter my spelling also stinks. Anyway just wanted to say hello and let you know what is going on in my life right now. South High Cheerleader

Aaliyah tried out for cheer last spring and was picked to be on the JV squad. She cheered at her first game on Friday. South played their rivals East. It was a nail biting game but in the end South prevailed. So congratulations to the varsity football team and to the varsity and jv cheer squad who did an awesome job cheering their team on. Way to go ladies.

Newly and Sheila

Newly and Sheila Something wonderful and amazing has happened to me. Something I thought would never happen again. I am in love. Not only am I in love but the person that I love was my very first boyfriend. Who knew that 39 years later God who navigate our circumstances so that we would reconnect. There are days when I stop and think is Newly really back in my life. This is crazy. This is bananas. Wow! We loved each other when we were 14 and 15 years old and we love each other now. How amazing is that? To God be the glory. I pray that we never take each other for granted and never let anything or anyone come between us. Ride or die boo ride or die.

Happy Birthday Kristina Morgan Young

Two days after celebrating Aaliyah's 15th birthday it was time to celebrate Kristina's birthday. I won't tell you how old she is just in case she doesn't want it known. Lol! I had to work this year so I was unable to go out to dinner with the crew. Of course she went to her favorite place Earl's. Well even though I was not there physically I was there in spirit. Happy Birthday Kristina Morgan Young aka Krissie, Nina, Tina, and Stina girl. Love you!
